I believe that all of us who went to camp castaway really had a lot of fun there !
Not only were we blessed by the words of God, we really had a chance to bond with our brothers and sisters from ET zone and I'm sure we made a lot of new friends there. (:

CAST AWAY

Last June, Breakaway...

Last December, Phenomenal...

This June, Castaway!!!

First we broke away from our old man,and then a new man is born in us so that we can create phenomenons after phenomenons because of the work of God in our lives! NOW WHAT?

The presence of God follows wherever we go because He lives in us!

So now even talking about going out of Singapore to the nearby St John's Island will take a step of faith because it means we cant order Mac, KFC etc for supper, very unlike the times when we are back on Singapore land camping in a primary school building! It's out of our Comfort Zone, so it's Cast Away!!!!

GET CAST AWAY!

I'm sure all of you are awesomely 'xcited for this!

It is more blessed to give.

So why not pass on the excitement,

give friends the flyer for this camp,

and have a rockin' good ol' time!!

If you wanna feel more faith arise in your heart,

'faith comes by hearing, and hearing of the word of God'...attend the service.

If you love N391 and wanna grow in the spiritual family,

YOU WILL TURN UP FOR ALL THESE!!

Today in SOT, Pastor Kong shared about the sufferings/persecutions he went through managing such a big church, etc. There are many many many many things he shared, but I felt this is awesome, especially for us: "Maturity of a believer is how much he or she loves God. If you love God, He will make you from a nobody to a somebody!"

Let's not be just members, but let us grow to be disciples of Christ. DESIRE. Sometimes we may be offended by what our leaders say to us, but if they dont love us, they wont care enough to chastise us and lead us back on the right track. Disciples are those who have to go through pain in order to be 'built' the right way. Let our lives be His clay. All authority is given by God and God works through people. We respect what God does. God is using our leaders to mould us. Love discipleship. Cry all you want (because that was me), and at the end of the day, you and I must learn to absorb the essence of what is taught and put it into practice. On the worldly side, we call Garvin's discipleship 'nagging'. But you gotta love Garvin for this part :)
