Recent and Upcoming Events.

If you love God,

you will want to seek His face (pray)...go for the Prayer Meetings.

If you love God,

you will want to know about Him MORE through His Word...go for the bible study.

If you love people (2nd commandment),

you will want to get them saved...go out and invite people for the Celebrity Weekend.

If you wanna feel more faith arise in your heart,

'faith comes by hearing, and hearing of the word of God'...attend the service.

If you love N391 and wanna grow in the spiritual family,

YOU WILL TURN UP FOR ALL THESE!!

Today in SOT, Pastor Kong shared about the sufferings/persecutions he went through managing such a big church, etc. There are many many many many things he shared, but I felt this is awesome, especially for us: "Maturity of a believer is how much he or she loves God. If you love God, He will make you from a nobody to a somebody!"

Let's not be just members, but let us grow to be disciples of Christ. DESIRE. Sometimes we may be offended by what our leaders say to us, but if they dont love us, they wont care enough to chastise us and lead us back on the right track. Disciples are those who have to go through pain in order to be 'built' the right way. Let our lives be His clay. All authority is given by God and God works through people. We respect what God does. God is using our leaders to mould us. Love discipleship. Cry all you want (because that was me), and at the end of the day, you and I must learn to absorb the essence of what is taught and put it into practice. On the worldly side, we call Garvin's discipleship 'nagging'. But you gotta love Garvin for this part :)
